Cheeseburgers are an absolutely delicious snack that you can have at any time of the day. Homemade cheeseburgers are the best because they are made for piling on toppings of choice. So don’t let anyone tell you what should and shouldn’t go on your burger!. And it doesn’t require anything fancy.
Ingredients(For 3 Servings)
❑ 4.5 pounds ground beef (80/20)
❑ 4.5 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
❑ 1.5 teaspoons light brown sugar
❑ 0.75 teaspoon garlic powder
❑ 3 teaspoons salt
❑ 6 teaspoons paprika
❑ 0.75 teaspoon cayenne pepper
❑ 0.75 teaspoon onion powder
Toppings:
❑ 18 hamburger buns, toasted,
❑ 18 slices of American cheese, or your favorite cheese
❑ 18 lettuce leaves
❑ 1.5 of a red or white onion, thinly sliced
❑ 18 Pickle slices
❑ 3 beefsteak tomatoes, thinly sliced
❑ Other topping ideas: grilled onions, jalapeƱos, bacon, and onion rings
❑ Condiments: ketchup, mustard, and BBQ sauce
Instructions
✅ First, make the burger seasoning by combining all spices in a bowl.
✅ Then, Divide ground chuck into 6 equal portions and gently form into ½ inch thick patties that are wider than the burger buns, since the meat will shrink as it cooks. meantime grilled some onions as toppings too.
✅ Use your thumb to press a gentle indentation into the center of each patty, which will help them cook evenly and not puff up in the center. Cover and set aside while preheating the grill.
✅ Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Just before cooking, sprinkle burger seasoning over the patties, then place on hot grill, indented-side up. Close grill lid and cook for around 4 minutes, until the bottom of the burger is seared and juices are accumulating on top of the burger. Flip and cook an additional 4 minutes.
✅ Add cheese on top of the burger patties during the last minute of cooking. Remove to a plate and allow to rest for a few minutes before serving on a bun, with desired toppings.
✅ Serve soft drinks as well, it will give an awesome kick to the taste buds.
